Fernando Laguna

Saxophonist, flutist and composer, studies at the "Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga" obtaining the highest grades. He obtains honorable mention with the group “Octeto de Viento Narija” in the upper section of the “Muestra de Jóvenes Intérpretes de Málaga” MálagaCrea 2005.

He has been part of the "Orquesta Joven de Andalucía" and "Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Málaga". He has directed various groups such as “Notos Reed Ensemble” participating in the concert festivals of the University of Malaga, “FIAMPSE” Valle de Lecrín (Nigüelas), in the festivals at "Cuevas de Nerja", and programs such as “Los clásicos salen a pasear” (San Pedro de Alcántara, Echegaray Theater, Alborania Museum, etc.).

Since its musical beginnings, he has been linked to the field of composition. Among his most outstanding works it is worth mentioning “Dos impresiones” for tuba solo (2000), “Divertimento da camera” for Octeto de viento (2004), “Vent de Sable” for Wind Sextet , “Romanza” for tuba and piano (2004 ), "Aulos 1" for oboe solo (2005), “Trio” (2011) for flute, cello and piano, "Adara" for alto saxophone solo (Sevilla, 2013) and “Le liberation de Aphrodite” for saxophone quartet. He is currently the artistic director of the "Festival de Música Clásica de Nerja", combining it with his work as a teacher.
